Skydiving - Seeing New Zealand from above

For the first 30 seconds of your skydive in New Zealand you will free fall at around 200 kilometres per hour. Then, once your chute is open, you will drift gently for five minutes or so as you head towards the ground. Skydiving in New Zealand is unforgettable!

Solo and Tandem skydiving operations in New Zealand offer a huge variety of landscapes for visitors to choose from. North of Auckland you can view both the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea as you float back down toward the ground.

In the South Island, operations in Methven, Queenstown and Wanaka enable skydivers fantastic views of the Southern Alps, rivers and lakes of the of the area.

Most operations also provide you with option of a photo or video of your experience.

If you get hooked on the thrill after a tandem jump, there are also a number of skydiving instruction courses to get you prepared for your first solo parachute descent.
